Medical Sales | Hybrid Role
Location: Gauteng (Johannesburg & Pretoria) and KwaZulu-Natal
Salary: R20,000 – R30,000 per month (depending on experience)

We are looking for young, energetic, and self-driven professionals with experience in medical sales to join a dynamic clinical and administrative sales environment.This hybrid role is ideal for individuals who enjoy building meaningful relationships, thrive in a people-facing role, and are comfortable engaging across different levels of the healthcare ecosystem — from decision-makers to day-to-day implementors. The position involves a blend of sales, clinical administration, stakeholder engagement, and regular travel within the assigned territory.
Key ResponsibilitiesStakeholder & Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with healthcare stakeholders, including Surgeons, Nurses, Pharmacy Managers, GPs, PNPs, and Wholesalers
- Understand unique client needs and offer appropriate, value-driven solutions
- Ensure efficient coordination of product delivery and related administrative services
- Handle queries, concerns, and service-related matters with professionalism and urgency
Business Development & Market Awareness:
- Monitor market trends to identify growth opportunities and potential risks
- Actively pursue new business opportunities within the allocated region
- Strengthen long-term partnerships to support sustained business growth
Sales, Marketing & Training:
- Plan and prepare thoroughly for client engagements and sales calls
- Consistently work towards achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Deliver tailored marketing, promotional, and training initiatives aligned to client needs
- Review sales data and performance insights to continuously improve results
Clinical Administration & Asset Coordination:
- Maintain accurate and timely submission of all reports, forecasts, quotations, and activity records
- Manage patient-related documentation, including motivation forms, consent forms, and supporting letters
- Track and manage allocated assets within the territory to ensure accountability and optimal utilisation
What We’re Looking ForExperience & Qualifications:
- Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in medical sales, medical devices, or a related healthcare field
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong administrative ability with excellent attention to detail
- Confident communicator with the ability to engage professionally across diverse stakeholder groups
- Naturally persuasive with sound negotiation and influencing skills
- Comfortable working independently while managing multiple priorities

- Presentable, professional, and people-oriented
- Motivated, disciplined, and proactive
- Resilient and able to perform well under pressure
- Adaptable and open to taking on additional responsibilities when required
Technical Requirements:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Good reporting, analysis, and data interpretation skills
Language & Mobility:
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans to effectively serve a diverse client base
- Valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Willing and able to travel locally on a regular basis and regionally when required

- Flexible working hours may be required depending on client and operational needs
- Regular local travel and occasional regional travel
